A one-size unisex bucket hat in blue and white checks, in Block Printed Upcycled Cotton from Jaipur.
A soft, easy brim that sits low and folds into a bag without losing its shape. It finishes a simple outfit and holds its own next to louder pieces.
The fabric is Achara, the cotton cloth laid under block-printing tables. Over around a hundred printing runs it soaks up dye tests, colour marks and printers' fingerprints before it is thrown away. We use it as it is, with no patchwork and nothing added, so the marks on this bucket hat belong to it alone.
