Ceejay is a streetwear label from Jaipur, built on a simple question: what happens when Indian print is treated as material for contemporary clothing, rather than as costume or souvenir? The answer is clothing cut for the street, worn in any city, and carrying the pattern of the place it comes from.
Origin
In 2021, Tarisha was walking through her family's factory in Jaipur when she noticed Achara, the cloth that lines the printing tables. A design project at school had asked her to make something out of the box, and she made her first piece from it. That was where the idea began.
Years of experimenting followed, and each one made her more certain. What she was making looked like nothing else, and she knew it was what she wanted to do.
She saw a gap. "Exclusive" is one of the most overused words in fashion, and it rarely means what it says. Hardly anyone designs for exclusivity in its truest sense, clothing that no one else in the world owns. That is how Ceejay began, and why it exists today.
Visual Language
The prints are layered and look haphazard, yet nothing is accidental. Each motif and each colour is placed deliberately, and that placement is what makes the whole read as one. Colour shifts from deep, muted tones to sudden brighter notes, and layered pigment deepens as it builds, so the overall mood stays rich and low-key. Silhouettes layer, reverse and move between pieces, speaking the language of streetwear while remaining Indian in sensibility.

Ceejay designs for people who refuse to dress like everyone else. For those with a distinct personal taste, who understand that luxury lies in exclusivity, in owning something no one else in the world does. They value creativity and the designers who work from it, rather than trends or what everyone is already wearing, and they see what they wear as an expression of their own point of view. It is not made for everyone, and it isn't trying to be.
